Do you mean that the EQ slide bar does not work?

If so, first try rebooting the phone. Next, try deleting the cache of the WiiM app (for Android) and reinstalling it.

What output are you using? Bluetooth, for example, doesn’t use EQ, and Roomfit is switched off for headphone output on the Ultra.

I mean when I open the EQ, changing the grafic EQ bars doesn't change the sound. Also roomfit doesn't change the sound. Not working.
I use Iphone for Wiim app.. Wiim audio input is wi-fi, output is "Line Out". Wiim is Wiim Pro. is Fırmware is 4.8.726839.
I reboot the phone / at the same time I reboot the wiim Pro.(disconnected power cord) and :) solved :)

I had the same problem suddenly this morning with my Wiim Pro. The preset I made for the PEQ was still shown and the green switch was on when I first noticed and no matter what I did (PEQ or GEQ) there was no change whatsoever. After a reboot of the Wiim it worked again. This is the first time I seen this happen. The Wiim did start-up from cold this morning, was not in standby. I mostly every day switch off all power to my audio.

I forgot to provide feedback to Wiin/Linkplay when it was in the faulty state.

Welcome new member. :)

Could there be a timely coincidence with the release of the WiiM Home app version 3.3.8?

Power cycling the device, rebooting the phone and clearing the app cache (on Android) should be mentioned somewhere as the standard procedure if any strange effects show up.

Hello All, I previously was present on this forum but deleted my account because the time spent here became a little excessive.

My Wiim Pro is running the latest firmware and indeed my iPhone, iPad and M2 Mac mini (using the iPad version) are running 3.3.8.
I don't know for sure but I guess all DSP settings, presets etc are stored on the Wiim itself, must be right? I did not change anything in the EQ settings before I noticed that it was not working anymore earlier today. The Wiim was powered off for a few hours and I just switched it on and again the EQ failed but now the only thing wrong was that the EQ was switched off (the green slider switch) All I had to do this time was switch it back on again but it was not switched off the last time the Wiim was on (this morning). There is definitely something strange going on.

Edit: Submitted a support ticket via de Wiim Home app

Yes, it looks like something is not probably saved or initialized, or maybe overwritten?

We have seen that in other cases also. Probably a software bug in the WiiM device at booting?

That's what I suspected. Did you take some precautions this time or do you plan to just accept the excessiveness this time? ;)

I've had a similar experience with (previous) PEQ settings which had been imported into RoomFit profiles, but didn't show any effect. In this case, making any small change to the setting and re-saving it was a viable workaround. WiiM had recognised this is a bug and implemented a fix.

Back then I think the issue occurred after a firmware update. In this case it almost looks like the setting reported to the app by the device was not the one actually in use. Good to see the final fix was easy, at least, and no settings have been lost.
