100% volume level plus 100% volume limiter gives a bit perfect output.I would certainly hope so, otherwise it wouldn't be a bit perfect output (for things like MQA to work).
fixed volume level at 100 and limiter to 85 gives also bitperfect output?100% volume level plus 100% volume limiter gives a bit perfect output.
Not possible.fixed volume level at 100 and limiter to 85 gives also bitperfect output?
i have the limiter set at 85 and then set fixed volume at on, what I get?Not possible.
85%. Output volume is a min function of the limiter and the volume level set.i have the limiter set at 85 and then set fixed volume at on, what I get?
and is it then bit perfect or better please explain me with which settings I get bit perfect playback85%. Output volume is a min function of the limiter and the volume level set.
For bit perfect you need 100% volume and limiter. Fixed volume means 100% volume.and is it then bit perfect or better please explain me with which settings I get bit perfect playback
no. as i said limiter at 85 and fixed volume set on it plays with external dac qieter. try itFor bit perfect you need 100% volume and limiter. Fixed volume means 100% volume.
As I said - "Output volume is a min function of the limiter and the volume level set."no. as i said limiter at 85 and fixed volume set on it plays with external dac qieter. try it
If you change the digital signal in any way by applying a digital volume change either directly via the volume control or indirectly via the volume limit, then the digital stream will change and therefore by definition is not the same as the original so is not bit perfect.i do not under stand it.
The final output volume level is the volume set on the device (or 100% if fixed), but no higher than the volume set in the limiter.i do not under stand it.
