Tidal via Chromecast offers new tracks at the bottom of your playlists... why doesn't it happen with the digital connection with Wiim Pro Plus? It seems like this feature is ignored...

It probably depends on the features that Tidal make available in their third party API to developers like WiiM.

Why are you using Chromecast and not Tidal Connect btw?

I use the Wiim app with my Android smartphone...the Pro Plus connected to the amplifier via coax to have 24/194 on the tracks that allow it...

You should streaming using the "Connect" feature and select the WiiM as streaming target, from the Tidal original app.
Tap the speaker icon on the upper right of Tidal playing display and then select the desired player.
Third part apps, generally lack many features.
