First, yes I contacted WiiM support to report this.
So I've had my Pro Plus setup now for a little over a week now with issues up until yesterday. It's a simple setup, ethernet for network connection, RCA out to powered speakers, RCA in from preamp for turntable, fixed volume enabled and auto detect line in enabled.
Everything has been working fine since I first set it up...
Yesterday I had no sound when I attempted to stream from Spotify. I started with a reboot of the WiiM, checked connections, bypassed WiiM and connected directly to speakers to make sure they still worked (which they did), started to think it just died...
Going through the settings I disabled fixed volume and then boom, the sound was back... Re-enabled again and it's back to working as it should.
I use the setting "fixed volume" because its plugged into a pair of powered bookshelf speakers with their own volume control.
Not really sure what to make of this glitch.
