First, yes I contacted WiiM support to report this.

So I've had my Pro Plus setup now for a little over a week now with issues up until yesterday. It's a simple setup, ethernet for network connection, RCA out to powered speakers, RCA in from preamp for turntable, fixed volume enabled and auto detect line in enabled.
Everything has been working fine since I first set it up...

Yesterday I had no sound when I attempted to stream from Spotify. I started with a reboot of the WiiM, checked connections, bypassed WiiM and connected directly to speakers to make sure they still worked (which they did), started to think it just died...

Going through the settings I disabled fixed volume and then boom, the sound was back... Re-enabled again and it's back to working as it should.
I use the setting "fixed volume" because its plugged into a pair of powered bookshelf speakers with their own volume control.

Not really sure what to make of this glitch.

Not sure I recall such being reported before, but I guess WiiM might be able to trace the issue from your device logs
Yeah, and found this was a bit similar:

Similar, but quite the opposite. :) Fixed volume had unexpectedly been disabled, while in your case it has not.

Just to rule this out: Do you happen to have the WiiM Home app installed on more than one smartphone/tablet? Or have you tried the beta version for Windows or MacOS? These sometimes expose options that are not available at all in the iOS or Android version ...

Yes, WiiM (nothing beta) is setup on a Lenovo tablet and my cell phone.

All settings appear to be available across both devices and I'm the only one using them.

The thing is, regardless of the fixed volume setting (enabled or disabled) sound should always be coming out of the WiiM. It's either gonna be fixed at 100% per the setting or disabled & adjusted from the slider.

In my case toggling it off immediately brought the sound back when it should have been at 100%. Like I said, it's weird and hopefully not something that continues.

I'll be checking it again today when I get home.
