So native HomeKit might be a stretch. But how about a Homebridge extension?

There's a decent API, and integration already being fleshed out for Home Assistant, so something at least minimal should be technically feasible. Perhaps the greatest impediment to a nice solution will turn out to be Apple's as-yet utter failure to enable adequate integration of WiiM (and other) devices with its music services, making it low if any priority for both companies.
