Has anyone gotten good measurements with a 2.1 setup using the Wiim Ultra?

I want to connect an external streamer to my Yamaha R-N800A amplifier (ES9080Q DAC). For system expansion, what's better and more important: a streamer with an integrated DAC or one without? Should I choose an Eversolo T8 or a streamer with a DAC like the Bluesound Node Icon or WIIM ULTRA?

I'm currently using my Yamaha R-N800A with Elac DBR62 speakers and an additional Elac RS 500 subwoofer. My room is 14 square meters.

With the Yamaha unit and its YPAO calibration, I definitely get better sound. To retain the Yamaha unit's YPAO calibration, I would have to connect an external streamer directly via USB or the analog input. This means either a dedicated streamer (if I want to use Yamaha's YPAO), or one with a streamer DAC but a subwoofer connection, like the Wiim Ultra or the Bluesound Node Icon. The Bluesound Node Icon has Dirac room calibration, but it costs an extra €300. I'm wondering if the extra cost is worth it?

Now I'd like to ask you, what about the Wiim Ultra with a calibrated microphone and its room correction? Does it work as well as Yamaha's YPAO? Does it accurately measure the room acoustics, including distances to the listening position and wall reflections?

I've got no experience with YPAO. But RoomFit with a miniDSP UMIK-1 or UMIK-2 or a Dayton Audios iMM-6C works perfectly fine.

I have even gotten 'good' measurements with a 2.1 setup using the WiiM Ultra - and my iPhone. One might also ask "for what purpose do you want the measurements?".

Having not sprung for a decent calibrated usb mic, I was still able to measure effectively for subwoofer-main speaker time alignment and room gain calibration [mostly between 20-500Hz] from my phone with the ultra handling the crossover, etc. I feel my 2.1 HiFi system is now fairly close to optimal [in my listening space and within my budget :-] due primarily to the Ultra's function and flexibility (also thanks to KEF and SVS).
