HDMI ARC falls asleep when TV paused too fast.

Using HDMI ARC. When I pause the Netflix and chill, the Wiim Ultra falls asleep pretty quickly. Unpausing takes 2-3 seconds before audio restores. What can one do to stop this from happening?

I did. It’s set to an hour but it still sleeps.

It isn't just HDMI that does this, I see similar behaviour using the optical input. When a TV programme is paused, the Ultra screen shows a large Play symbol after two minutes, presumably this means that the input has been paused? Then after a further minute, the clock comes up on the display. When I resume the paused TV programme, the sound returns in just over 1 second.

If this behaviour bothers you, then you could always rewind or skip back a few seconds, in this way you wouldn't miss anything.
