First time WiiM product owner here so please excuse any noob sounding stuff until I get up to speed.
First question: does HDMI port on the WiiM Amp Pro only recognize audio if it’s on the ARC return wires from a TV?
I have a sacd/dvd-audio player that has a HDMI2 Audio Out only port, but the WAP plays no sound when connected with known good 18G HDMI cable.
It works with toslink okay, but I would like to hear the difference through HDMI.
Is there a hardware/software switch to control ARC or regular(?) HDMI throughput operation?
Or am I just doing something wrong?
