Help with External DAC

I have a wiim mini streamer that I am connecting via spdif from wiim to Modi3+ External dac
From there I’m using rca out of Modi to integrated amp rca

I’m not getting any sound when I do this? I have the setting I believe correct on the wiim mini app (audio output spdif) and the toggle switch on the modi set to middle (optical toslink )- no sound ?

Would you have any idea what I might be doing wrong ?

Make sure your toslink plug sits tightly in the streamer, it tends to fall out. Also you may check with headphones if mini is actually playing anything.

Thank you - it was my bad , didn’t remove tips from cable - ugh - working now

I did that the other day too.
15 secs wondering why the darn toslink wouldn't click into place, and then it clicked (get it?)!
