I am having trouble getting the Wiim app on my M1 iMac to see my plex server, it works fine on my iPhone, it finds it without any problems, but on the iMac it just keeps searching. I have tried the beta desk top version of the Wiim app and the iPhone version (which works on the iMac) it finds my Tidal subscription ok.

I have DLNA enabled on the WD EX2 NAS drive in the plex setup and also have Twonky Server installed.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

The WiiM app for windows is very primitive and I expect the Mac version is similar. I wouldn't expect it to be comparable to the mobile version.
