How to add a song to my amazon music playlist from WiiM app

How i can add a new song onto my amazonmusicplaylist from WiiM app? There is no possibility to select..have always to open the amazonmusic app separat

There’s every possibility that the software interface Amazon makes available to third parties like WiiM doesn’t have that functionality.

If you have enabled Alexa and AlexaCast is available in your region, that should allow you to use the Amazon Music app to cast to your WiiM device and offer the playlist functionality you seek.

Second i want more precise..that means, do i need for speech an own alexa device or does it work over speech with my android handy too with WiiM app?
I dont have Alexa device and dont plan such device.
I just use WiiMapp on smartphone towards WiiM device towards a high quality streamer --> Amplifier and speakers in the same room.

No, you don’t need to own an echo nor indeed use the Alexa voice assistant. Leaving aside the history and the name as such, AlexaCast is the name for Amazon Music’s casting/connect mechanism I.e. the means whereby you can use the Amazon music app and send audio to a target device such as the WiiM. While your region may have both Amazon Music support and Alexa support, it’s an Amazon quirk that it doesn’t follow that it supports AlexaCast as well - you’d need to check that out or let us know which region you’re in so we might be able to confirm it for you. If AlexaCast is supported in your region, all you need to do to enable it is link your Amazon account to your WiiM device via the Amazon Alexa entry in the WiiM Home app.

Another way of using the amazon music app and sending audio to your WiiM device is to use Chromecast (although that’ll be limited to CD quality) which is supported on all WiiM devices except the Mini. And, if you’re on iOS, you could use AirPlay (unless you have an Ultra or AmpPro) or even Bluetooth, but those only offer lossy mp3 level quality.

If you use the Amazon music app to send the audio to your WiiM, you can use that app’s ability to add to playlists.
