iFi Audio iPower2

measurements doesn’t show improvement on power supply either phone charger or lps. Some say will be just snake oil.

I was hearing low-level hum & a rhythmic tapping in my system recently and tracked it down to the wall adapter for my Topping D30 DAC. I looked at reviews for the iFi ps but found some that claimed their system sounded WORSE with it. Ironic that there are so many who claim the ps used on a digital audio device can't make any difference, but a bad one is easy to hear?

I haven't tried a different power source for my Wiim but I plan to soon. I have a nice 5V linear ps available now that the Wiim has replaced my old Squeezebox.

Hey,
I’m attempting to try an iFi psu to my Vibelink in my pro plus > Vibelink (via toslink) > Focal Aria 936 speakers setup to see if it improves anything.
The power cord on the iFi psu I’m trying has a 3.5mm plug whereas the Vibelink has a standard female power inlet, any ideas?

No idea if I get you correct. The Vibelink has an internal PSU according to your home's main power. How do you want to use an external PSU like the ifi instead? There is a lot soldering to be done..😉
