iHeartRadio - cannot set my country location, so I see only US stations in the WiiM app

I have just set up my new Wiim Pro Plus. I use the separate iHeartRadio app on my devices, and that app determines my country/location automatically, and finds local stations.

But when I log into iHeartRadio within the Wiim app, it assumes I am in the USA and I can only see US stations. There seems to be nothing in the iHeart account itself which identifies which country I am in (which makes sense if you travel, for example). But the Wiim app doesn't seem to check my location.

Can anyone please suggest a fix for this?

From googling, it suggests that under Account in the iHeartRadio app you can tell it to use your current location but I suspect that only impacts the app not your account, but it may be worth a try.

If that fails, then raise a ticket under feedback/settings in the WiiM Home app and in the meantime use the iHeartRadio app and airplay or ChromeCast (or even bluetooth) to your Pro Plus as appropriate

Thank you for helping out. Yes, the iPad and iPhone apps for iHeart use my geo-location, and hence offer local stations. I also logged into the iHeart.com website and interestingly it also seems to recognise my location (presumably from my IP address or stored phone number). But the WiiM app client doesn’t.

You can demonstrate this simply by searching for “BBC” in the WiiM iHeart source (it isn’t found).

I have done as you suggest and lodged a ticket. Thanks again, M.
