Hi,

I have a 5.1 in-wall prewired speakers in my home, with the cables running bundled (but seperated) individually to one location in the basement ( use a balon with HDMI over ethernet)

My current set up is to a Denon receiver which controls the video and sound to the speakers. To listen to music only I have to connect via bluetooth (unfortunately I can't just listen to music without the TV turning on)

There doesn't seem to be a 5 channel WIIM amp. It is possible to use a WIIM product as a bypass (Between the HDMI and the receiver) to control the audio/visual (hopefully this makes sense?)

I have a WIIM amp currently for my outdoor entertainment area, but that is only 2 speakers (so perfect/easy)

Really look forward to any help! Thank you.

You will need to give more details - I suspect the HDMI/Ethernet baluns are what is forcing TV on but what model are they?

Sorry, Samsung TV, I have the balun with HDMI eARC outpt to the current Denon Receiver (AVR-S570BT).

Is it possible to do a bypass from the EARC to the WIIM Ultra? Or is my best bet to use a different WIIM product plugged directly into the receiver? My fear with the later issue is that every time I stream with the WIIM product, my TV will turn on because of the eARC (maybe I'm wrong? sorry i'm a noob at this)
