Pioneer has Pioneer and Pioneer Elite products, with Elite the higher end line.

Yamaha has RX-V and RX-A receivers. The A stands for Aventage and represents there higher end products with clear distinctions from the RX-V line. A receivers are always listed as Aventage products.

So, how about Wiim and Wiim Extreme or something like that. Too bad Ultra has already been used. That would be a clear distinction between the two products sets and the branding would be easy to do.

I already suggested Ultimate or Ultima. Continues the Ultra line.

It's been almost a year and a half since I purchased my beloved Wiim Ultra. In this time, Wiim has expanded its product range by introducing many new products such as amplifiers, subs, and speakers. As for the streamer range, I think now is the time to complete the line, as other companies have done, raising the bar and introducing the Wiim flagship with all the experience gained with the Mini, PRO, Pro Plus, and Ultra. I think the time has come to look at a Wiim Apex, Zenith, Signature, Reference, Master, or Absolute streamer. In short, choose the name that best represents you, but the point is that, given the quality of the Wiim world and what competitors are putting on the market, I think it's necessary for Wiim to introduce a new flagship streamer. I'm in love with their products, but now I want a streamer without compromises and I'd be willing to pay a lot of money for it. I've said t you're a pefrect candidate o myself many times: how much I would like the hardware quality of product X with the software quality of the Ultra. Am I the only one who thinks this, or do I have some friends?

So your really happy with the WiiM & the software but you want to upgrade.

This is how snake oil was invented ,stick with WiiM unless you want to p#££ money up the wall!

For my purposes the Ultra will do perfect. Had to use a lot of high end stuff before, but generally high end ages as quick as fashion. Sorry folks , i dont hear any ( much or better ) improvement at equipment 4 times te price.

And if i hear any difference, i'm not sure i like that difference at all. WiiM's philosophy is clear. Excellent stuff at a fair price point. And lets be honest, its a brand that i consider to be symphatic. No role-playing bull shit marketing , good support. What do i want more? Looking forward to future products.
