Let's talk movies & streaming shows

Tehran - Apple. Mossad, CIA, Sepah & a nuclear warhead. Hugh Laurie as S African nuclear scientist with his own demons to deal with. Based on Israeli original. 8/10
Didn’t you previously say this was a 2/10 flop?

The quintessential 'murican TV series: The Righteous Gemstones. So much humor! So much reality!

Peaky Blinders - The Immortal Man.

If you are prepared to sit through an hour or so of confused storytelling, you'll finally reach the last scenes of Tommy Shelby's funeral pyre (the only part of this melodrama which matches the brilliance of the original series). The final track of the soundtrack is excellent

The accompanying production - The Immortal Man Podcast is worth watching

Watched this on Netflix last night. Top soundtrack as usual. Won't spoil the plot for you.

Too late, @castalla already posted a major spoiler ;)

I thought it was ok if a bit lightweight and I might have enjoyed it more had I watched the tv series.
You do probably have to have seen the whole TV series to really appreciate the plot.

I was unaware of @castalla's earlier post - that's a problem with not reading back

I thought it struggled to build a story about the Nazi counterfeiting operation which almost farcically had a platoon of uniformed German soldiers lying in wait to ambush the canal boats in Liverpool during an accompanying Air-raid. Talk about poetic licence! At one point, Tommy is pictured sitting on a travelling barge typing away furiously at his book of memories. And why wasn't there a cameo role for somebody to play Churchill 😁 . Apart from Hunting The Wren, the only other decent soundtrack was a reprise of Nick Cave's Red Right Hand (from the original series).

Was that the counterfeiting operation portrayed in Private Schultz?
