Linkplay functionality compared to Wiim?

I was interested in a Audio Pro Wiim speaker for my kitchen.

I have a Wiim Ultra for my main music source and really like it. The app and the functionality is great.

I have since found out that the Audio Pro Wiim editions are not available in the UK but their Linkplay versions are.

I am aware that Linkplay and Wiim are very similar but I'm not sure how much functionality I would lose with Linkplay compared to Wiim?

Is the Linkplay firmware compatible with Amazon Music?

Can Linkplay and Wiim devices be linked for multiroom? That's not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have?

Should I just wait for the Audio Pro Wiim's to be released in the UK?

See the a10 Mkii spec (and its manual) on this page https://audiopro.com/products/a10-mkii

The WiiM edition version brings a lot of the features that you’ll find on your Ultra, such as EQ, peq, room correction, persistent groups (which in effect allows you to assign names to a linked group of speakers), squeezelite support (for LMS users), replaygain etc

The non-WiiM edition will link with WiiM devices as well, and does support Amazon Music, and I’d expect you’d be able to play that on a set of linked devices, albeit up to 24/48 which might not be an issue on speakers of this type.

The Mkii version of audio pro speakers, WiiM edition or not, did drop Alexa support which other wiim devices do support.

If you want the speakers to benefit from the WiiM features that will continue to be enhanced, then wait for the WiiM Edition version - while the Linkplay version might well meet your existing needs, you might feel frustrated when the WiiM edition versions get updates that the Linkplay version won’t.

I don't have the Audio Pro speakers, but I do have an Edifier MS50A connected and controlled in my WiiM Home app via LinkPlay. I don't have room correction and some some of those nice WiiM features, yet I can group, set presets, create alarms, and some other essential features. I imagine that the Audio Pro non-WiiM LinkPlay experience could be similar.
