Sometimes people want to listen at low volumes but still have it sound similar to listening at normal volume. Unfortunately our ears cannot hear bass and treble as well as midrange at these lower volumes: Equal-loudness contour - Wikipedia.

RME solved this problem with a "loudness" feature that EQs different volume settings like this: Total Harmonic Distortion Measurements; Loudness - RME Audio ADI-2 DAC User Manual [Page 56] | ManualsLib

Wiim can do one step better by automatically detecting the reference 0 dB level using its built in microphone or the app microphone.

Mic integration wouldn't even be necessary. It would be awesome if there were a setting that acted like a "loudness" button on an old stereo.
All modern wifi speakers have this feature built-in automatically. Having this as an option on a hifi setup via Wiim would be amazing.

@mcombat I think that WiiM Home App already has the set you would. Is one of the preset in the EQ

Yeah I am wanting this too.

I often want to listen very quietly - but want the "loud" sound.

To me it would be best as a 1-10 slider - so a user can add as much as they want.

A lot of audio plug ins (for music recording) have this for "warmth" "tube sound" or "saturation". (Loudness)
