Mini or Pro

Hello
I am about to add another device, but am having a hard time deciding.
We have had the Ultra about a week or so. Very happy and pleased with it. It’s in the front room system. Feeding a set of SVS powered speakers.
Now we want to add to the media room. The device will feed a Denon AVR 4700H. Which in turn, feeds an amp and finally into Polk Audio speakers. Now the thinking is add the WiiM to this. Reconnect the ceiling speakers in the bedroom (zone 2). Reconnect the speakers in the bathroom (zone3). This would allow music from the WiiM though the house.
I was looking for advantages of getting the pro over the mini. I see the coax out, but I did have both coax and optical inputs open on the Denon.
Any thoughts?
Joe

I’d go for the Pro or even the Pro Plus to be honest given their increased connectivity and greater number of features, especially now when there’s a sale on. Plus they’ll be more feature proof than the Mini, even though that’s still a good entry level device.

@Reallyjoe If you need Chromecast function, I would go with Pro instead of Mini. If you only connect WiiM via spdif or toslink to the Denon, Pro and Pro Plus are pretty much equal except a remote controller.

I started with a Mini but had trouble finding an optic cable that made a reliable connection. The one that came with fit the Mini nicely but not my DAC. I eventually bought a Pro so I had the option of either optical or coax.

Some newer features are not being implemented on the Mini because of its more limited computer power.

I would suggest going with the Pro.
