I'm having some issues getting my music library added.

Music files are on a Windows 10 computer on the same network as the Wiim Pro Plus, mostly flac files.

I added this as a Home Media Share to the Wiim Android app and it shows up. But... When I click into any of the folders (Artists, Playlists, etc.) there are no files.

I set everything up through Plex as a workaround, and that works flawlessly, except that playlist creation and management is awful in Plex. I can't import m3u files and would have to recreate everything one file at a time. I did find an API solution that supposedly imports existing m3u files into Plex. That process creates the playlist, but doesn't add any files.

What's the best way to manage this? It seems like the Wiim's native app should be able to parse my Home Media Share...

Network shares aren’t indexed. You could try the beta desktop WiiM home app, although that wouldn’t necessarily help with playlists (maybe worth a try though), but maybe another solution like MediaMonkey would provide what you need.

There a number of issues with the built-in Windows media sharing, the primary one being that it doesn't order tracks from multi-disc albums correctly, so if you're not happy with Plex I'd try MinimServer.

The WHA has pretty limited functionality, particularly when it comes to playlists. A better option that works with WiiM's UPnP interface would be Symfonium with a compatible music server like Jellyfin.

Your Wiim Pro Plus needs a proper DLNA/UPnP media server to read and display your music files correctly. Windows 10’s built-in media sharing is limited and often doesn't index FLAC or M3U files well. Install a DLNA server like Asset UPnP, Serviio, or Universal Media Server on your PC.
Add your music folder and playlists to it. I hope this method work for you and solve your problem I personally use this process thats why i share this with you.
