My WiiM AMP Ultra left and right channel gain is unbalanced:

The left channel gain is smaller, and it needs to be increased by 1.1db to balance the left and right channels.

Electronic measurements (in mono mode) on the test signal at the analog output?
Etc
( in same canal input of bench)
Without specifying your observation protocol, it doesn't really make sense...

;-)

The technical engineer of your product should provide testing.

The human ear can clearly feel the imbalance of the left and right vocal channels, and the right vocal channel is very loud.

I plan to tell my friends about this failure to avoid losses.

If you didn’t really check it out and notice the whole process…your statement is meaningless…even if it’s a sign of incompetence. Maybe your car has a problem… but you’re not telling it right.

A left/right imbalance can come from several places: the source material, room placement, speaker position, hearing position, speaker wiring, room correction, balance settings, or the amplifier itself. A perceived 1.1 dB difference is also small enough that we need a clear test method before concluding this is a hardware fault.

彩云南墙, if you are still willing to troubleshoot, could you please try the following?

  1. Play a mono test track or use Mono mode if available.
  2. Confirm L/R balance is centered and EQ/PEQ/Room Correction are disabled.
  3. Swap the left and right speaker cables at the Amp Ultra.
  4. Check whether the louder side follows the speaker/cable or stays on the same amplifier channel.
  5. If possible, test with another pair of speakers or another input source.
If the imbalance stays with the same Amp Ultra channel after swapping speakers/cables, please submit a ticket through the WiiM Home App so our support team and engineers can review the logs and help determine whether the unit needs service.

Also, a reminder to everyone: this is a user forum, and people may arrive frustrated when something does not sound right. Please keep replies focused on helping diagnose the issue rather than questioning motives or insulting the user. That gives us the best chance of finding out what is actually happening.

Thank you so much for your reply!
The after-sales service and forum were not very friendly, so I've given up on the WiiM. Thank you again.

Except for some frustrated forum members, I actually think we were trying to help a new user that didn't understand that it is a user forum and not a direct access to the WiiM engineers.

The OP seams to have decided from the start that the WiiM was bad.

From their perspective and experience it very much was bad. We didn't really change that bias or experience and we lost them. Can't win them all.
