No sound from denon

New question
Pro+ optical out to Denon 4700H. Denon input selected to optical. Not getting sound. Tried other optical input, no sound. Verified Pro+ was tested prior to hooking up to Denon and worked fine.
Any thoughts.

Switched to Coax, changed to fixed volume, coax on DVD input. Things are working, not sure which change got it. But it’s working, on to next steps

Probably a bad optical cable.

Hi, You must assign the connectet optical Input from the Denon to the selectet Input.

On my Denon . Optical 1 can only play 24 bit 94khz. Optical 2 can play 24 bit 192khz
