Hello,
I have a problem that the volume use linear volume, so in the beginning of the scale each step makes a big difference, while from the halfway on it barely makes a difference. We as humans hear not in linear scale, please add the option to change that. I would like to have more steps.

I think you'll find 100% is a lot louder than 50%

I absolute agree. human perception of sound loudness is logarithmic not linear.
The result of using linear volume control is big increases in lower end and small increases at top end, which are perceived by humans as unnatural.

The WiiM volume control works just fine for me. Maybe because I "only" have 50W per channel. I can adjust the low volume in small steps and above 70% it's getting loud. Louder than I like.

I can imagine if you have 200W, it becomes harder to make fine adjustments at low volumes.

I would not like current implementation to change but maybe an selecable scale could be implemented for those who have more power outputs?
