Not working on 192/24 coax

Have you tried a reboot or factory reset of your WiiM device, a different cable or connection to a different device to see if the problem persists?

What DAC? Capable of 192/24? DAC settings? Fixed resolution enabled or disabled?
I try tomorrow

Reboot yes but not factory reset. I'll try tomorrow. It was working and nothing has been changed - a Roon update perhaps.

OK, I pressed pause for 10 secs and went through a reset. On setting up coax it would not play 24/192: the DAC was just clipping. 24/96 is fine.

The coax is highend (The Missing Link - Binary Star), the reason I got WIIMpro to replace a Raspberry Pi4b to play Roon as my internet here (Philippines) is very unstable. The DAC is by Denafripps and is superb. So it's definately the WIIM pro.

I've seen several other posts about this and looks like the WIIM has an issue.

Oh I, forgot to mention. It was working out the box - 24/196 that is. I've been away for a few weeks and this started when I got back. Has there been a recent update?

Silly question...
Is the cable in properly at both ends?
I had intermittent trouble with high sample rate files when my coax cable came out slightly.

OK. I've tried multiple coax and optical in both the Wiim Pro and a RPi4b with a Digione hat using Ropieee.

All of the cables achieved 24/196 on the RPi. None did on the Wiim. My conclusion is the the Wiim Pro cannot achieve 24/196. Either all the responders here are paid by Wiim to say it does or you are all unable to judge 24/'196 on your equipment.

I couldn't be bothered to send it back but ebay will do.

Shame on Wiim.

Maybe try 24/192 instead
