Optical in not working

My optical Input is not working.

I have my WiiM Ultra connected to a Minidsp Adept using an Optical cable.
The Ultra is switched to Optical in and the Play Button is orange, but the Display says „The music has stopped“.
Auto sensing on the input is on, and the source is playing at 16/44100.
What can I do?

Try a different cable and make sure it’s securely seated at both ends.

I tried the Optical cable that came with the Minidsp and another that I bought some time ago - no luck.
I suspekt that the Minidsp works - it plays music over usb and also over spdif.

Double check you are using the ultra's optical in socket, not the optical out?

And the optical cable that comes with the Ultra is capable of 192 kHz for sure, even though it may not look like much.

Guys, thank you so much. I found the issue: There was an unused tv connected to the Optical in. When connecting my Minidsp, I used the only free socket that I could see, the Optical out! Fixed now.
