password protection on Pro plus

I am setting up Wiim Pro plus for background music at an office on a password protected network. Although there are still lots of users on this network, not random people. But enough office employees to all want to stream own stuff.

Is it possible to set up password protection on the Wiim box to prevent anyone who downloads the WiiM Home app to stream?
Let’s say only one person is authorized to stream the music. How do I enable this restriction on the Wiim box?

As far as I know, WiiM does not have such a feature.

If you can't create your own guest network (SSID) on your office network, a possible solution would be to connect the WiiM to your phone's hotspot and operate it with the WiiM app on the other phone.

But someone else may have a better idea .

An alternative to using a guest network on your existing router is to install a small router broadcasting its own SSID and subnet, and using your existing office router as its wider network gateway.
You can physically secure this new router and manage its network access separately though its own SSID
