Hi there, I have a USB stick plugged into my Wiim Ultra and I've figured out how to create a Playlist, add albums/songs to the playlist, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to access the playlist to play it. When I go into the home app > Browse > USB Media Library > Playlists tab, my user defined playlist doesn't show up at all. Where is it? How do I get to it to play it? Please advise.

Does the playlist have a m3u or m3u8 extension?

All music files are flac. And damn, I kept going to Home Music Share > USB Media Library > Playlists tab. Thanks for the guidance. I see it now under My Music > My Playlists.

Aren't they stored under My Music > My Playlists?

Glad I found this thread! I just started building a flac usb library, and wondered why it displays "Playlists" under USB Media Library if it's impossible to populate it...?

Playlists created by 3rd party applications can be stored on the USB storage device and can be played fro there.

The path to anything stored in such a playlist must not change after it's been created, or the playlist will break. One example is e.g. MusicBee, which build libraries from different storage locations for music, create and manage playlists from such a library and the synchronise the music files and the playlist with a USB storage device in one go.

@harkpabst Ahhh, fantastic! Thanks for sharing, much appreciated 👍
I can totally see where your confusion comes from.

The big question is if things were less confusing if all kinds of different playlists would be managed in one place in the UI. Honestly, I don't think so, because features and functionality would still be different.

Yeah I hear you. It's also only just dawned on me that the USB storage is most likely read-only once connected, so WiiM couldn't write any playlists to USB, hence they're stored internally.

The usb drive isn’t read only as the WiiM cache is written to it while indexing etc
