I have a Plex server running on Truenas Scale that serves my home network. The Wiim app can see the server, but it is unavailable.

Is there a simple fix for this?

I signed up to the Plex beta last week but I've not heard or received any updates.

Photo for reference.

Are they on the same subnet?

If you're using the docker container, try setting it to network=host. I don't use TNAS-Scale for this, but my docker setup uses it.

Just tried that and it's given me access to the server now. Thank you hoohoohoo!

I wonder what, if any, other errors with other devices that'll throw up....

Again, thank you.

Is this a recent change? I haven't used plex through the app in a while, but it was previously working. I'm now getting "No server available". I am using docker, I'm not using host networking. What changed?

The linuxserver.io image is widely used (860M pulls) and it's been like this for ages...SSDP multicast has to cross the NAT boundary in docker, so host networking is the simplest way to solve this issue (there are other methods in docker networking, but more complex)
