Hello everyone,

just for context, I am a newbie to Wiim and audio systems in general, so sorry in advance for any stupid questions :)

I have a Wiim Ultra + a wiim mini (to add a Samsung soundbar hw990d to the system) + 2 audiopro c10 wiim editions. Everything is in Wifi. A CD player is connected to WiimUltra, but no speaker is connected directly to WiiM Ultra.

I use the system mainly as a multiroom, with Spotify Connect or the CD player as input.

Everything is working fine enough, but I have a doubt. I successfully applied presets to Ultra so that the first one reproduces from Spotify and the second one takes input from a CD reader.

However each time I select the preset to change the source, it disconnects all the elements in the current group, so I need to link the group together in the app each time. When I set up the preset, the device was grouped.

Is this the expected behavior? is there a way to fix the group without opening the app each time?

Hi welcome.

As far as I know, Spotify presets do not yet support group playback. Therefore, when you play Spotify with the preset, the group is deactivated.

I recommend submitting a request ticket through the feedback section of the WiiM app.

This is unfortunate for me and until this is resolved, I am mainly using Amazon music.

Hi corrado, Wiimer, team

We’re aware of this software bug and are working on a fix, which will be included in the next firmware update. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience!
