Pro plus not seeing as roon ready

I just bought the wiim pro plus and it only appears as airplay.
Is this one the latest firmware, it's driving me crazy.
Can someone help me, please?

In the WiiM home app, under music services/manage, have you toggled on Roon Ready? And then, on the browse page, what happens when you then select Roon Ready?

On the Browse page in the WiiM Home app, are you saying when you choose the Manage icon on the right of Music services, you’re not seeing Roon Ready on that second page among the list of available services? Could you post a screenshot please?

Actually, that’s showing a very old version of the firmware. Choose the “check for updates” on the screen you showed above

I tried several times, but the app is telling me its up to date and no sign of roon ready in services.

I’d submit a ticket to WiiM thru the settings/feedback section in the WiiM app. Is this a new or second hand unit?

So was it a bona fide retailer or a personal purchase?

Hopefully they’ll give you a replacement that works. I’d see if they let you set it up on their network to prove it’s ok, then if you continue to have an issue at home, there might be something awry with your setup.

I just tried one last time before going to the shop, and it worked, as soon as he was On, the update started and now roon ready appears.
I don't know why, but hey, it works. IS this the latest firmware?

In the device info screen it shows the firmware build date - check that.
For example, your first screenshot shows 20230615
Definitely don't believe the check for update screen
I'm still convinced the code behind that says sleep 1, print up to date...

Yeah, that’s very recent. You should see Roon Ready now in the app

The release date is 20240318, i'm pretty sure this time is fine.
