Hi, Excuse my ignorance if this has been asked before , Got a Wiim mini today but its not showing up on my qobuz ? Any ideas ?
Works ok on spotify though.

You’ll not see the mini on the Qobuz app unless you’re using airplay or Bluetooth. The mini doesn’t support Chromecast nor will it be supported for Qobuz Connect.

You should consider using the Qobuz page within the WiiM home app - from the WiiM app browse page, choose Qobuz then enter your credentials, and set the streaming quality from the WiiM Qobuz page under the three bar menu/streaming quality setting.

Thanks for your help. I would rather use the Qubuz app , very disappointed and surprised at this. My old chromecast audio works why not the Wiim mini ?
As i've opened the box am i stuck now with a dead duck ?

The Mini was the first product WiiM ever brought out and it is also the cheapest. The computer chip they use to run the Mini has limited power and function so there are some things the other units (Pro, Pro+, and Ultra) can do that the Mini can't. If that's a deal breaker, I hope you bought the Mini from someplace like Amazon where you can return it for free.

Bought from a shop in dublin so more than likely cant return, 100euro gone grrrrrrr

Your choice is wiim app or airplay. Chromecast is not supported by mini. If you still on return window you can choose wiim pro. Pro will have the same updates you get on ultra minus anything related with sub.

Sorry, there’s nothing misleading on WiiM’s part - it supports Qobuz quite happily thru its own app and Chromecast compatibility isn’t listed as a feature.

As the other poster noted, I have a Qobuz subscription that works fine with my Mini and other players. However, I don't use Chromecast. I checked the WiiM web site here: https://wiimhome.com/wiimmini/overview -- the chart toward the bottom of the page clearly shows that "Google Cast Audio" is a feature available on the Pro, Pro+ and Ultra, but not the Mini. However, I sympathize with you -- it can be difficult to plow through all the details for a variety of products, especially when you don't have them in hand.

Guess I kinda somehow presumed the Mini would be able to do what the old Chromecast could do.
Annoyed with both myself and Wiim, It shoudnt be this hard to figure things out IMHO. Should have went with the pro.
So its back to the old (almost 10 year old) google chromecast audio and will try and flog the Wiim, I actually feel like throwing it in the bin out of spite.
