Question about Amazon Favorites in the Wiim App

Hi everyone… I am frustrated and need to ask a few questions.

I have been using a couple of WiiM Minis around the house for a few months. I have an Amazon Unlimited plan, but run the (whatever you call it) native version on the WiiMs with my iPad and iPhone. I don’t hate it. I usually just play albums and rarely play stations or playlists. The app’s interface is easy enough for my 60 y/o brain to wrp around. I am pretty good at digging in the menus and finding what I am looking for… HOWEVER… I don’t really understand Favorites and Presets. When I goto Favorites, all that is there is WVH Mammoth album… also in the Tracks… just WVH Mammoth tracks from the same album. That’s it. Nothing else. I have been listening to other kinds of music for months. In fact, I really dont recall listening to WVH. I have nothing against Wolfie and his awesome project, I just don’t know how this became my ONLY Favorite. Literally, the only one. I can’t bet rid of it. I don’t see a way to edit or remove it. I went to the full Amazon Music app and un-hearted it. There is a lot of other stuff that IS hearted that doesn’t show on the WiiM app. How do I get Favorites to populate with ACTUAL favorite stuff? It is incredibly frustrating to not be able to find any setting for this.

Additionally, Presets… is it only able to populate with songs? Not Albums or Artists? That seems a little short-sighted if true.

Yes, I think @GonzoF1 is not having Amazon Music Unlimited . If he gets first song right and then jumpint to other artist is that he is playing "artist radio" (something that is also available in Unlimited). This artist radio mixes songs from artist of your choice with others "alike"

If have Unlimited and have no issues to shuffle ALL songs by a single artist as @Wiimer described. Even one step less:
1) Search Ian Hunter
2) Click on result brings you to the artist page
3) Click Shuffle

You can optionally click "Heart" at step 2 as described by wiimer but also in 3 if you want Ian Hunter be in your library as favourite Artist

yep, exactly. And Shuffle will shuffle only the artist.

Sounds like you're listening to Amazon Music Prime that comes free by dint of being a Prime customer, not Amazon Music Unlimited which is a separate paid subscription services - they're not the same service both in terms of quality and playback

Yes, the Amazon Music UI may vary slightly depending on the device, country, and plan. I am a Prime Music member in Japan. The radio icon does not appear.

Also, my screenshot has been translated into English.

Ok… well… The Amazon app isnt showing all my devices and some of the devices on the list are either defunked, duplicates, or have been renamed. Moreover, I dont see how to edit that lost or how to choose multiples of them. THAT Is why I prefer the WiiM app… at least currently. And I guess it should be mentioned that I still only see WVH Mammoth as my only Artist and Tracks. Which still sucks.

There's no such service called that - it's one of Amazon Music Free, Amazon Music Prime, Amazon Music Standard or Amazon Music Unlimited. However, if you have a family subscription (irrespective of whether you are a Prime customer or not), you have one of the latter two

The radio icon probably doesn't appear as that's the only real option that Amazon Music Prime offers for an artist

My screenshot in comment #42 is from the Amazon Music app on my iPad, well the top left hand corner to be exact.
