So, I missed the end date of my trial and Qobuz charged me a years subscription with no refund available.

If anyone is interested I could sell it for half the price of a 12 months subscription inc. taxes.

I would give you my account info and you could change password and email after logging in.

If this is against any forum rules please just remove this post and sorry.

A real shame Qobuz did not refund you the unused portion. Qobuz is not a consumer friendly company.

You may need to watch that it’s being transferred to someone in your home country as they may detect a change and invalidate the subscription if not. I know this isn’t a “gift” but their website seems to suggest you can only “gift” a subscription to someone else in the same country.

I do not know where you are but Qobuz may be violating consumer protection rules of your location.
See section 11 here - looks like they even waive your right to change your mind within fourteen days prescribed by French Consumer Law. Looks quite draconian and would put me off signing up annually :(

Indeed. Nasty company. I subscribed and I am out after a few months for several reasons and, me too, no refund.

Apple or Amazon will refund unused portion.

Yes, I will never again touch anything related to them, it is very obviously a moneygrab-company with zero customer interest.

Regarding them detecting any "change" or usage from different countries, I highly doubt it as looking at their infrastructure and support they seem to have nothing that advanced in place or the funds to keep track, one could simply say they were "abroad" traveling or such, no way to find out, and their pages are all automated with no human interactions on their back-end.

Either way if nobody will purchase it from me I will let everyone I know use the account (miss-use) as long as possible just so as many people as possible could benefit from it.
And if they notice, well, let me quote a famous movie: "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" ;)

Again, you make them responsible for YOUR mistake. Goodwill is nice, but not their duty. Those who read carefully have a big advantage. But start your crusade ;-)

Not crusading, just trying to get rid of them and the account, the rest is just my opinions.

And the reason for me not recommending them or being negative is in regards of their non-existing support when emailing them on their multiple support addresses, I don't care if they would reply that "Sorry but we cant do a refund" or such, just that they WOULD REPLY at all.

On the Qobuz website, it clearly states that the annual subscription is non-refundable. There is a monthly subscription option. You seem to be blaming Qobuz for your foolishness.

That’s not what I see, just someone who made an innocent mistake trying to make the best of it while being critical of qobuz’s rather draconian policies.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone…🤷‍♂️

Where exactly do I blame them for anything but poor customer response? can you quote me?
And I never signed up for an annual subscription, my trial was automatically changed into one, and yes it was my fault for being a day late in canceling, nowhere have I stated otherwise, so keep the foolishness to yourself ;)

Ok, as I wrote a few posts above, I understand the frustration about a company not even replying. THATS bad, of course.
But lets take this as a reminder that even Internet-Experience users should never stop to read carefully.
And no, you signed for a yearly subscription. At least because you didn't check that there was a monthly option. ;-) Accepting by not refusing.
Did you try to get any contact in the "Qobuz Club"? I am too lazy to re-read the complete thread.

Don’t bother posting on the Qobuz club any negative posts get moved to a sub forum which doesn’t appear on latest or new posts.
I had an issue with albums I bought being unavailable for download and streaming it took 3 months for them to sort it out.
I now have them listed twice in my purchased albums and I usually click on the wrong ones to play them 😜
Luckily I was near the end of my subscription so I immediately cancelled it terrible service imho.

Tried it anyway ;-)IMG_5045.jpeg

Thanks man, appreciate it.
BTW "Chopin" that is the Polish composer, are you perhaps Polish/Half-Polish? (My father is Swedish and my mother is from Poland).
No, I am German. But I love his music. Among many other music. Life is too short for only one genre ;-)
