Simultaneous Outputs

Haven’t heard of any progress in that area. There’s even been a suggestion from support that the hardware can’t provide that but who knows?

Best raising a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app to see what the official line is.

Just submitted a feedback ticket stating how I use coax out for my music right now, but would really appreciate if the RCA Line Out was always on, so that I can hook up my spectrum analyzer.

Can this be done via firmware update? I think if that was possible wiim would already gave us that feature.

I tend to think so too. And as I said, a support agent told me the hardware doesn’t support it - one of the downsides of a “system on a chip” perhaps…

Which is strangely in direct conflict with the ultra faq

Question: "Can it be configured to send the audio to all output channels simultaneously -- both Analog and Digital?"
Wiim response: "We can output to all channels simultaneously with software update that we will do later."

It’s not the only response in that faq that’s at best ambiguous ;)

If that was the case, they have enough time to do it since the roadmap is nearing to its end. There’s hardly anything left on roadmap. Bug fix going forward.
