Hi, as I don't know, I rather ask your help. I get a WIIM ULTRA since few weeks and it works fine. I use Line out to go on a mixer, and I use Optic out to go on a MARANTZ amplifier.

What COAX OUT is use for ?, what can be connected to it ? and can we connect Dynamic speaker ?

Thanks

Coax out is an alternative digital output to optical out.
I expect your marantz has a coax input as well as an optical input.
What do you mean by Dynamic speaker?
That is clear, many thanks. Yes, my MARANTZ SR6013 gets two coaxial IN, but this is not what I intend to do. You may think I am a bit nuts but the idea is as follows.
I have 2 set of speakers, one pair of EVERSE 8 active and one pair of CABASSE passive connected to my MARANTZ.

My WIIM ULTRA:
  • Line Out -> Mixer PROFX6v3 -> EVERSE 8 or CABASSE (MARANTZ) (works fine)
  • Optic -> MARANTZ Optic 1 -> CABASSE (works fine)
  • Coaxial -> EVERSE 8 (via Line In Mini Jack)

So I am able to
  • use WIIM with my mixer, either on EVERSE 8 or CABASSE
  • use WIIM on its own either on CABASSE or now BECAUSE OF YOU (THANKS) on EVERSE8

How are you going to connect the Ultra coaxial output to the line in Mini Jack of the Everse 8?

He isn't!
Hi Input 6 on the image. I am pretty sure it will work. I use it already with my PC (mini-jack -> mini-jack) when I go out to give my ballroom dance lesson.
However, I wait for the cable (Coaxial - Mini Jack) I have just ordered after you give me your explanation (once again, thanks). As soon as I get it, I'll test and I'll let you know.

Coaxial out is digital. You can't connect it to an analog stereo input.

As above. You can’t use Coax Digital out into Stereo Analog In but you could use the Bluetooth connection!
Ah, OK, though I could.
Yes, I use already BLUETOOTH indeed. It is working fine from WIIM ULTRA to EVERSE 8.

I just wanted to add a cable connection. So I will stay as I am. Many thanks for advising me. As my order for the cable is still cancelable, I will do so.
