Sony STR DH 770

Has anyone connected a Wiim Mini to a Sony DH 770? I'm having problems.

Said Sony has (amongst other input options that are irrelevant) Optical Input and Analog Audio Input. The Mini should be connected to one of these. Assuming you have done this what are the issues?
