Soundbar and ability to use with ultra as part of a 2 channel set up

Id like a soundbar, and I'd like to configure a system where the soundbar was front and then standard 2 channel speakers as rears. When not using surround can be configured so rears are the 2 channel main speakers. Hope I explained this sensibly, thanks

I'm pretty sure what you're describing is possible, but I need some more info:
What inputs are on the soundbar and speakers? Are you looking to use one Wiim device or multiple? You want to use the soundbar alone as your stereo system and be able to switch to the speakers alone as a second stereo system, right? Do you want to use both simultaneously? And, do you want surround sound, like 5.1 or 4.1 with phantom center?
