I have a WiimMini and have an amp and speakers connected to aux out.
When I watch iPlayer ( or other video) there is significant sync problems. I estimate around 1s audio delay.
I have used the audio sync setting but there does not appear to have any real affect on the audio synching.

I read your question several times and i'm still not sure what you are asking.. Do you mean group sync or maybe the lip sync with the video? Bluetooth just is like that, it adds lag

aaaand another bump
Am I the only person that has sync problems when using a Bluetooth source.

The WiiM Audio Sync feature can't compensate for Bluetooth latency.

When I connect my Android phone to the Mini via Bluetooth, I experience an audio delay of around 100ms on YouTube. If the delay reaches 1000ms, it's possible there's an issue with your phone.

It might be worth trying a network reset on your phone.

I understand that older Bluetooth devices commonly had lag, but every Bluetooth earphone I have used in the past 3 or 4 years has no noticeable delay - even 'cheap' ones.
Is there a technical reason why the WIIM mini is different? We are talking a significant delay of approx. 300 to 500ms.
Given there is no sync issue with Bluetooth earphones connected to my phone, and the WIIM is also out of sync when connecting my iPad or windows laptop, I think the issue lies with the WIIM.

Hi - lip sync with video.
lip sync isn't even properly working for me with HDMI or optical (using an amp ultra directly connected to my TV)...

I’m not sure of the exact technical reason, but the wiim simply adds latency, and it’s even worse if you group devices (likely due to signal processing). You could try to adjust the delay on the receiving side (the device playing the video) rather than the wiim. You basically need to tell the video to add a delay, as I don’t think you can compensate for the lag the other way around.
