Tidal cast to Wiim groups

I'm confused....

As you state, Tidal doesn't show chromecast groups.
But you are asking for help with "i am still facing issues with the playin cursor which stay to zero while casting Tidal to Wiims using Chromecast groups."
How are you casting Tidal to a chromecast group containing wiims?
If I use the android bubbleupnp app (which shows all my chromecast groups as well as individual ddevices) to cast tidal to a chromecast group it works fine, but I'd still use either upnp from bubble or tidal connect from tidal to cast to the parent of a wiim group over chromecast any day.

Regarding your concern about stability, I've been using tidal connect to individual and grouped wiims for a couple of years with no real issues.
By no real issues, I mean that sometimes I don't see all my wiims in tidal or sometimes a wiim only shows as a chromecast target even when not in a wiim group. Restarting tidal or my tablet almost always fixes that, and it's quite rare.
i.e. 99% of the time I just open tidal, choose a wiim target and play. (Yes, sometimes I have to play before choosing a target.)

Can you please clarify exactly what you are doing that still causes you issues?

Actually, i am able to see Chromecast group from Tidal application after having start Google Home application. After that, Chromecast group is displayed in Tidal application. Issue occur when casting to this group. But in the meantime, i created Chromecast group containing my cambridge streamers. And while casting to this second group, issue do not occur with playing cursor. So i cannot say if issue with first Chromecast group come from my Wiims or Tidal application.

Nice observation - me too!
I wouldn't normally have google home running.

I just tried casting to a chromecast group of 3 wiims, and the track progress bar moves in the tidal app.
All 3 wiims show as playing in the wiim app too, and each shows the progress bar moving too if I go into each one.

Thanks, finally i resent my Wiims to Amazon today. I will test chromecast casting with my cambridges. Maybe i will get back to Wiim in the next few months if i need multiple streamers at home.

Maybe too late now, but I just tried again using bubble to cast a 'hi res' album from tidal to a chromecast group of wiim pros - the attached external dacs all showed 192khz.

Thanks for testing. I will perform such tests with my Cambridge and let you know...
