Just in case anyone encounters the same problem, I wanted to share with you a Tidal connect malfunction on my Wiim Pro plus and how I fixed it.

I'd been using Tidal Connect on my Wiimpro plus for months without any problems, but it suddenly disappeared. As a result, in the Tidal app on my Android 13, my Wiim was shown as a chromecast device only, and same behavior from the Windows Tidal app.

For completeness I must say that I also have an AudioPro A10 (not a Wiim edition, but it works perfectly with the WIIM home App) , and it was well identified as a Tidalconnect device.

I then tried various procedures to try and re-establish Tidal connect:
- Disconnect the Audiopro A10
- Restart my phone, Reinstall the Android app, Restart my Wiim, nothing worked.
-Of course, I checked that the IP addresses of all the devices were on the same subnet.

In desperation, I streamed Spotify on the Wiim's Spotify connect, and miraculously, Tidal connect immediately reappeared on my Wiim Pro plus. And so far, everything's working perfectly again: I hope it lasts ...

Great description, could be helpful in the future.

Better to try out stuff that is unintuitive and seems to make no sense (as long as we have such examples showing how it helped) than having to do a factory reset. (y)

A temporary workaround could be to set the Wiim IP address as manual, and set one IP of your own between the range of those accepted by your router.
Not definitive, but it helps the Wiim to quickly be acknowledged by Tidal Connect on your pc/app.
