Tidal problem on the mini

I subscribed to Tidal a few days ago in anticipation of connecting to it when I got my mini today. I did the initial subscription on my pixel and streamed via Bluetooth to my Klipsch Sevens after selecting a bunch of artists I was interested in. Today I hooked up my new mini via optical cable and then signed on to Tidal via the mini app and it cannot play the playlist I generated when I signed up. I can see it and select it, it just doesn't play. It's like I've got one Tidal via my initial Bluetooth connection and another via optical cable. I would like just one Tidal that plays everything. The optical version also doesn't let me select a bunch of genres and artists to create a playlist. Any suggestions?

Use the Tidal app and use Tidal Connect to the Mini from the speaker icon on the now playing page.

Re the Tidal page in the WiiM Home app, did you do the optical audio resolution test in the WiiM app first to ensure it played ok?

All the setup, including the resolution went smoothly. I'll try your suggestion tomorrow and see if I can lock that in. If not I'll deal with it the way it is. Thanks for the suggestion.
