Turntable to Chromecast Speaker

Hello
I’m trying to cast audio from my turntable to one of my Chromecast-enabled speakers. While I’ve successfully enabled Chromecast in the settings and can cast to my WiiM Pro Amp from various devices, I’ve noticed that within the WiiM app, the only audio output options available are via line-out and Bluetooth. I was hoping to see my Chromecast devices listed as output options. Is this functionality supported?

The WiiM devices are not Chromecast transmitters, only receivers.

Got it, so I will need to add a Wiim mini or something similar if I want to cast from my turntable to my speaker set?

Yeah, you’d need to connect the mini’s output to the speakers and group it with your amp pro so that the amp’s input is transferred to the mini.

(As a side note, as the mini doesn’t support Chromecast you couldn’t send other audio over Chromecast to the Amp and have it shared with the Mini - I know that’s not your current use case, just something to be aware of)
