Ultra and Eversolo A6 Gen2

Hi all,

I am thinking of connecting my Ultra (via USB) to a Eversolo A6 Gen2 but then I thought, what about my Sub.

As the Eversolo has no Bass out / Management, would you suggest leaving the Sub connected to the Ultra to handle the bass management?

Any help / assistance would be great appreciated!

Why would you do that? And the answer to your question, if you want bass management, is yes. But then you need to control the playback level using the WiiM always.

Yes the Eversolo has Airplay and the Ultra doesn't. Connecting the Ultra to the Eversolo does not give the Ultra access to Airplay, don't understand what you tell us by your one word reply.. (I edited my previous post)

Are you trying to get AirPlay to play through the DMP-A6 to the WiiM so that the WiiM can handle bass management and volume control?

You need to use the optical output of the Eversolo to the Optical input of the WiiM.

I’ll be using the Eversolo for Airplay playback and the rest via the Ultra. I would like to use the A6 as it’s just laying around doing nothing

That's...incredible. But now it makes more sense. Anyway, see my last response--use Optical out from Eversolo to Optical in on the WiiM. Use Optical Input on WiiM any time you want to AirPlay to it.
