Just as a thought is the Ultra on the latest firmware and is the WiiM app up to date? I had issues with the Ultra early on and it was corrected by updating to the most recent iOS app version. Do you have another device that you can try the USB input of the Pontus?Yup exactly! Very frustrating... I've tried rebooting both devices, unplugging the Ultra etc with no luck. Pretty crappy experience honestly for a new product.
I've been where you are more times than I care to remember with audio gear. I spent quite a bit of time getting the Ultra setup to my liking. Some if not most of it was due to mistakes on my part and not having enough patience. The time spent was well worth the effort.Yes true, but had I understood this issue ahead of time (time to stop trusting YT reviewers maybe?) I wouldn't have gone down this road. This issue has come up in other threads I'm seeing and I haven't run across any solution in all the time this item has been on the market. Sorry for the negativity, but I've spent what, 5 hours or so trying to solve this with no result so I'm a bit frustrated.
