Ultra USB storage usable via other WiiM devices

I discovered last night that I am able to listen to the 2tb of USB music connected to the Ultra in my main system via the Pro Plus in another room. That is excellent & effectively this hard drive now operates as a replacement NAS for both devices.

Available to other DLNA/UPnP control points and renderers too.

It's certainly not a NAS, but might prove useful as an additional backup.

Playing one album on my WiiM Amp from USB and another one on my Lyngdorf from the WiiM Amp's media server ... no problem.

You can even do crazy stuff like DLNA from the WiiM media server to HiFi Cast on the phone and chromecasting from there to the WiiM device. Doesn't make any sense but it's a proof that the media server runs stand-alone.
