Ok, finally I bought the Vibelink to pair with Ultra abd KEF LS3/5A.
As I've immagined my old but gold Quad 77 was better, but, the clean look and the ease of use from the new couplé can convince me for the switch.
The problem, as always, are the two little bitches made in England that really requires a lot (really a lot) of power.
But the Vibelink itself it's a Nice pièce of amplifier and it's not bad at all.

Did you mean to say, they cannot cope with a lot of power? ;) That would be more like it (as much as I always liked them).

"As I've imagined my old but gold Quad 77 was better" --> The imagined part of what you think you hear is often the whole "problem".

Yes yes, LS3/5A sure have problems with power, in fact the best coupling i had with them was with a "weak" power amplifier from Audio Research, only 200 Watt.
Sure they can't afford this beast that is the Vibelink...

Where is that Audio Research amp now? If that was/is the right combination stick with that and don't buy the Wiim Vibelink. It's easy really....
