Using the USB output to connect to a computer for a VU app

Hi guys,

I was wondering if its possible to connect my Wiim Amp Pro to my Mac through USB (so dual output, speakers and USB) and then use the Mac as a VU meter or some other cool / relaxing visuals.

Very nice room .
Unfortunately the WiiM amp pro does not allow simultaneous speaker and USB output. I think you will have to think of another way.

I found some apps that can use the microphone so I guess that is good enough.

Ideally I wanted analog VU meters connected directly to the Wiim, but that seems to require passing the analog audio signal through a dubious ChiFi box
