Yesterday I have bought the Vibelink, connected to a Windows-PC (RCA) and a Chromecast Audio (optical). Very pleased with the sound, but I have a question about the power management. I would have expected that last night the Vibelink would have entered Sleep mode after 60 minutes (30+30), but this morning the light of the input selector was still on and the device was a bit luke-warm.
Therefore I connected this morning an energy socket. When playing music the device consumed some 12W and after 30 minutes of inactivity it entered Stand-by modus of some 6W. But then nothing happened and the device keeps consuming 6W, so no Sleep-mode. I'm not using a trigger cable, and I have even temporarily removed all the input connections. Still no result.
When I installed the device yesterday I have updated the firmware (it mentioned the version, but I can now not find a way to display the current firmware). I can enter Sleep mode through the Wiim app/bluetooth and the Vibelink goes to <1W. However, I share the device with 2 family members and they are no fans of the 'smart house', so they will not turn the device off with their phone.
Am I missing something about the automatic Sleep-mode after 60 minutes?

Hi,
Have you checked whether your issue was resolved by the firmware update?

After 60 minutes of inactivity, the device's LED will turn off and enter sleep mode.

Additionally, pressing and holding the power button on the rear panel for 2 seconds will turn off the LED and put the device into sleep mode.

If the issue persists, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to attempt a factory reset. If that does not resolve the problem, I recommend submitting a ticket via the feedback section in the WiiM app.
(WiiM home > More > Feedback)

Your device logs will be sent, which will help resolve the issue.
(Please connect the Vibelink to WiiM app via Bluetooth before sending the ticket.)

Thanks for your response. I had the firmware directly installed after power-on. I have tried the factory reset, but the 'problem' with the Vibelink is that you can't see anything of the settings/status on your phone, apart from the on/off button. Of course I knew this when I bought the device, but some information ánd the possibility to switch between the inputs would be great in the future (through Buetooth).
For the moment I accept the current behaviour: stand-by after 30 minutes which then continous endlessly. The device is very near my workplace, so when I shutdown my computer I can easily power down the Vibelink with the button at the back.
