When using your WiiM Ultra with line out to an Yamaha Aventage 3080 Receiver, how are you setting up volume control.

Fixed or Variable?
I plan on using Fixed output and attenuate with the receiver. What are you doing

When I was using the Ultra as a streamer, had the volume on fixed and let the receiver handle volume duties..

Generally 100% variable.
Allows me to use the wiim remote or my tablet buttons to lower/re-increase the volume up to whatever the amp is set to.
Want it louder still? Grab the amp remote.
