Volume limit

Setting the volume limit doesn’t just limit the max output. It also changes the entire volume range. Without the limit i normally listen at around 30% from the volume slider. Setting the limit at 80%, i need to move the volume slider to 50% for the same result. Also, the max volume is subjectively nowhere near 80%, more like 50.

Others have the same experince?

Yeah, the volume limit %age is a multiplier, not a fraction of the max volume.

A bit of a paper cut usability bug.

I put my phone down the other day and brushed max volume. Full volume for a few seconds while grabbing the phone to reset the volume.

Increments or purposeful drag to position would be nicer.

This is the reason i wanted to limit the max as well. Happened a few times, had to dive to the amp and turn down the volume before permanently damaging hearing or gear. Could be some other way to reduce the possibility of max volyme by accident.
